Commenting and Makeup Treat Reminders

This is your notice: commenting on gifts is required in goreswap. If you participated in the last round, you must comment on your gift in order to sign up for this round. Now is not too late!

If you received a pinch hit because of a DNW violation, an incomplete work, or anything else, commenting on the original gift is not required. If you received a treat that did not match a request you made, commenting on the treat is not required. If you contacted me about another situation and I told you you were excused from commenting, that remains true.

If you plan to sign up again, please check that you commented on your gifts from last year. If your creator has blocked you, turned off comments, or deletes your comment, or something else is preventing you from commenting now, please contact me either by dreamwidth PM or at shimmeringwords@gmail.com. If applicable, please include a screenshot.

In addition, some participants who failed to turn in a work but did not default with the button, or who turned in a placeholder or incomplete work, are required to create a full-length treat for some request before signing up again. If this applies to you, you have about three weeks to the end of sign ups to create your makeup treat. I will send out email reminders to anyone in this category this week. If you think this may apply to you, please check the email associated with your AO3 account.
